Saying your students are “apathetic” is easy.

But are they really?

Most students don’t know much about their SG.

Even at schools with strong Student Governments, most students don’t know who their officers are, what SG does, or how it represents them.

TRUTH #2:
Students usually don’t even know they have an SG.

They don’t know its leaders. They don’t know what it does. And they don’t see how it affects their everyday lives.

Here’s the Problem

Your SG may represent students, advocate for them, fund and recognize organizations, serve on institutional committees, and work on important campus issues.

But being important isn’t enough. Students have to know you, and have a reason to pay attention.
