Isn't ASGA stepping on the toes of the other national lobby organizations?

Q:Isn't ASGA, by its very existence, stepping on the toes and hurting the other national lobby organizations?

A:No! ASGA is NOT a lobby organization. ASGA is an information, networking, training, and research resource. ASGA does not lobby and does not take stands on specific issues.

Therefore, it is not interfering with the important and critical work of the United States Student Association (USSA), the American Student Association for Community Colleges (ASACC), or any statewide or regional student organization.

In fact, ASGA desires to create partnerships with these groups and others, to help our members.

Instead of hurting these groups, ASGA actually helps them create more effective student governments, which helps create more effective lobbying.
