By Brett Peto · February 21, 2012
The Student Government Association meeting lasted a total of four minutes, from 11:35 to 11:39 a.m., Feb. 9. SGA president Jake Meding cited the need for member attendance at the upcoming Student Activity Fair in the lower level of the Frick Center.
Staff advisor Ian Crone mentioned a referendum on the Feb. 21 and 22 SGA elections ballot to make Habitat for Humanity and Black Student Union budgeted organizations.
In the brief time allotted, Meding also announced a desire for SGA to join the American Student Government Association, an organization of student government bodies at the collegiate level. Meding called it “a really good networking opportunity for us.”
